For total peace of mind whilst traveling we would recommend the following:

1. That you purchase adequate travel insurance

2. Make sure that your passport is valid

3. Make sure that you check if you require a visa

4. Check what vaccinations you require and ensure that you get any boosters

5. If you are on medication ensure that you have enough to cover your trip

6. Obtain a local guide book to the area

7. If travelling within the EEA (European Economic Area) get an E111 from the Post Office. (Countries in the EEA are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the UK)

8. Take enough money to cover your trip

9. Cancel the milk, newspapers and anything else that might be delivered whilst you are away

10. Get a good book to read and relax!
